Why I Coach

To give back to the game that treated me so well. If I can pass along some of my hockey knowledge as well as educate players on life skills, hockey skills, and leadership skills, I hope to help them become outstanding student-athletes.

Relevant Experiences

• 2006-2024: Played A/AA Men’s Senior Hockey in Spirit River, Captain for 12 years, won 8 championships, and Provincials in 2009
• 2002-2006: Played NCAA Division I Hockey for the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks, Captain for 3 out of the 4 years
• 1999-2002: Played in the AJHL for the Grande Prairie Storm, Captain for 2 of 3 years, MVP of the League in the 2001/2002 season
• 2002: Captain of the Viking Cup Alberta Team
• 2002: Captain of the AJHL All-Star Team (North)
• 1997-1999: Played U18 AA for Grande Prairie, Captain in 1999
