Our Goals​

The objectives of the Grande Peace Athletic Club are to encourage organized competitive participation in hockey and other athletic endeavours for fitness, the joy of effort, the pursuit of excellence and the expanding sense of community and in pursuit of these objectives, to serve the following purposes:

  1. To allow athletes, coaches and support personnel with the interest and ability the chance to attain their maximum potential.
  2. To serve the developmental needs for the sport of hockey by providing the best opportunity for competition.
  3. To assist in the provision and development of up-graded equipment, facilities, experienced officials and volunteers.

Pillars of Success

  • Character – GPAC will develop people first and hockey players second. GPAC will provide a culture of accountability, trust and togetherness. GPAC will not tolerate entitlement, selfishness or negativity.
  • Community – GPAC athletes will demonstrate daily, their commitment to community involvement and the significance of being a good citizen. GPAC athletes will approach all aspects of community with the highest standard.
  • Hockey – GPAC in partnership with our volunteers, coaches and service providers, will deliver a diverse program. This program will not solely be based on hockey, but one that has a focus of overall athlete development and hockey skills.
  • Education – GPAC will strive to educate our athletes about the importance of education and the balance required to reach their fullest academic potential. GPAC athletes will strive to achieve the required classroom activities and continue to perform to their individual academic abilities.
