Why I Coach

I coach to have a positive influence on the athletes I lead by focusing on their growth of character and life skills through the game of hockey. I feel that sports provide the ideal vehicle to develop leadership attributes and resilience while playing and enjoying the game. Being on the ice, floor, or bench coaching are some of my favorite places to be as an opportunity to give back to the sport that I was fortunate enough to play growing up. I strive to continually learn and improve in some way every day.
