There are lots of actions if local fans are looking for a hockey fix this weekend.
Grande Peace Athletic Club teams are hosting seven games over the weekend - all in the Crosslink County Sportsplex in Clairmont.
It starts Friday when the Dreger Racing Team Midget AA Storm host the Dawson Creek Canucks at 7:30 p.m.
Dreger sits third in the Black Division of the Edmonton Rural Midget AA Hockey League with six points and are led by Spencer Rheaume and Brody West, who each have seven points.
The Midget AAA Ernie's Sports Experts Storm; Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm; and Boston Pizza U16 Storm are all home for a pair.
Ernie's hosts Edmonton SSAC at 2 p.m. Saturday and Edmonton MLAC at 3 p.m. Sunday in Alberta Midget Hockey League play.
They are in a solid second in the Dodge Division with six wins, five losses and a tie and are led by Edge Lambert with 13 points (11 goals and two assists).
The PAC Saints take on the Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm in games Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m.
GA is fifth in the Charger Division of the Alberta Bantam Hockey League with three points. Steel Burke, Simon Hamilton and Carter Hensch each have seven points for GA.
The Fort Saskatchewan Rangers are also in town for a couple. They challenge the BP team Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in Alberta Minor Midget AAA Hockey League action. Jaydon Gordey tops BP scorers with 15 points on five goals and 10 assists.
The Peaceland Directional Drilling Storm head northeast for a pair in Fort McMurray Barons on Saturday and Sunday in Northern Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League action. Carter Berg and Brody Thomson top PDD scorers with seven points each.
The ERBHL's Hitch 'Em Oilfield Hauling Storm have some travelling to do as well when they visit the Lloydminster Bobcats Saturday and then the Lakeland Panthers on Sunday.
Hitch 'Em is fifth in the Black Division with two points and are led Devon Barcley with seven points.
