Want to watch some AAA hockey this weekend?
You have four chances as both the Grande Peace Athletic Club Ernie's Sports Experts Midget AAA Storm and the Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm hit the ice for a pair of games.
The Ernie's team will be looking to make it three wins in a row, after a pair of victories in Calgary last weekend, when they host the Lethbridge Hurricanes Saturday at 3 p.m. and then the Sherwood Park Kings at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Both games are in the Coca-Cola Centre.
They have two wins, a loss and a tie in four games in Alberta Midget Hockey League play to start the season.
Golden Arrow play a pair in the Crosslink County Sportsplex in Clairmont - both against the Airdrie Xtreme in Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League action.
The two tangle at 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.
Golden Arrow will be looking for its first win of the season after a 0-4 start to the campaign.
The other home GPAC game is Saturday when the Peaceland Directional Drilling Storm host the Fort McMurray Barons at 7 p.m. in the Coke Can in Northern Alberta Midget Hockey League play.
The Boston Pizza U16 Storm; Hitch 'Em Oilfield Storm and Dreger Racing Team Storm are all on the road.
BP, with a win and three losses so far this year in Alberta Minor Midget AAA Hockey League action, visit the Lloydminster Bobcats Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and then the KC Centennials in Edmonton on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
Both Hitch 'Em and Dreger play in the Edmonton Rural Bantam AAA Hockey League and have a game each on the weekend - both playing the Dawson Creek Canucks.
Hitch 'Em, with a tie in their only game so far this year, play the Canucks Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Clairmont while the Dreger club, 0-1-0, crosses the border for a game Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
