In Northern Alberta Midget AA League play on Saturday the Grande Prairie Peaceland Directional Drilling host the Peace River Royals in Clairmont on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and then travel to Fort St. John to take on NEBC on Sunday.
There are two GPAC teams in the Edmonton Rural Bantam AA Hockey League and they are both in action - against the same team on different days.
Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the Coke Can in GP the Dreger Racing Team Storm host the Fort McMurray Barons and then Sunday at 10:15 a.m. in the same rink the Barons battle with the Hitch ‘Em Oilfield Hauling Storm.
The other two GPAC teams are on the road.
The Ernie’s Sports Experts Storm of the Alberta Major Midget Hockey League take on the Calgary Flames Saturday and then the Calgary North Stars Sunday in the southern Alberta city.
The Storm Boston Pizza U16 team visits Edmonton for a game Saturday against MLAC and then Sunday against CAC.
Meanwhile, the GPAC Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm are at a tournament in Chilliwack, B.C. this weekend.
They return home to host the Airdrie Xtreme in a pair of games - Saturday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. and then again Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. in the Crosslink County Sportsplex in Clairmont.
