Parents of players playing in the Grande Peace Athletic Club system can rest a little bit easier when they send their youngsters off on the bus this season.
GPAC has welcomed back Golden Arrow as its bus supplier and the Alberta-based company will be providing buses that include three-point seat belts.
It's a first for GPAC and something, considering what happened in Saskatchewan earlier this year, that could become standard across minor hockey in Canada in the future.
Players are precious cargo and GPAC is happy to be one of the first hockey organizations to offer this safety feature to its players, coaches and other travelling staff.
