Tie And Loss For Hitch 'Em

The Peaceland Directional Drilling Midget AA Storm finished their weekend with a loss and tie.

Friday, Jacksyn Clark and Daniel Graber scored in a 6-2 loss at the Crosslink County Sportsplex against the NEBC Yukon Trackers. Goaltender Ben Sigurdson made 28 saves for the Storm.

Then on Sunday, Graber and Cody Quinton scored in a 2-2 road tie against the Whitecourt TRAC Wolverines. Sigurdson turned aside 19 shots.

The Storm travel to play the Fort McMurray Barons on Nov. 25-26.

Hitch’em Oilfield Hauling Bantam AA Storm

Saturday, the Storm had multiple goal scorers and goaltender Tye Georgeson made 17 saves in a 9-3 road victory over the Beaumont Braves.

Jett Lambert (three goals), Jaydon Gordey (two goals), Tanner Nyland (two goals), Denon Bamber and Braeden Staples scored for the Storm. 

To wrap the team’s road trip, Mason Kyllo and Tye Evans scored Sunday in a 2-2 tie against the Whitecourt TRAC Wolverines. Goaltender Connor Stojan made 27 saves.

The Storm host the St Albert Elite Sportswear Blues on Nov. 25-26 at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

Boston Pizza U16 Storm

The Storm had a tie and win at the Crosslink County Sportsplex in a homestand against the Leduc Techmation Oil Kings.

Goaltender McCoy Bidewell made 40 saves, and Sheldon Kwiatkowski and Nolan Flint scored on Saturday in a 2-2 tie.

Sunday, Flint and Kwiatkowski scored again in a 5-1 victory over the Oil Kings. Damon Belcourt, Ethan Mercer and Ty Toews also scored. Bidewell made 28 saves.

The Storm travel to play the PAC Saints and Sherwood Park NIC Squires on Nov. 25-26.

Ernie’s Sports Experts Midget AAA Storm

The Storm dropped both of their weekend road games.

Saturday, Devan Klassen, Ronan Rheaume, Tristan Leicht and Jeremy Niven scored in a 6-4 loss against the Lethbridge Midget AAA Hurricanes. Goaltender Lars Kaliel made 35 saves.

Taylor Paulovich scored the Storm’s lone goal Sunday in a 10-1 loss against the Calgary Buffaloes. 

The Storm continue their road travel Nov. 25-26 against the Sherwood Park J.Ennis Kings and Leduc Chrysler Oil Kings.

Global Bus Lines Bantam AAA Storm 

The Storm were stymied by the Edmonton SSAC over the weekend at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

Ty Doucette scored Saturday and goaltender Terris Lappenbush made 34 saves in a 4-1 loss.

Hayden Smith, Alex Lopez and Tyler Buchberger scored Sunday in a 9-3 loss.

The Storm host the Red Deer Rebels on Nov. 25-26 at the County Sportsplex. 

PCFAC: Bonnett’s Energy Storm split road trip

The female Storm split their weekend road trip against the Lloydminster Junior Steelers.

Saturday, Arilyn Toews, Charlieze Sallis and Josee Stewart scored in a 4-3 loss. Goaltender Grace Lutz made 28 saves.

The Storm responded Sunday with a 5-3 victory. Jensyn Wallan and Marissa Coulter each scored twice and Nault made 25 saves in net. Dayle Ross also scored.

The Storm are back in action Dec. 2-3 at home against the North Central Impact.
