Boston Pizza Storm Take A Pair

The Boston Pizza U16 Storm Storm took their weekend homestand at the Coca-Cola Centre with a pair of wins over the KC Centennials.

Goaltender McCoy Bidewell stopped all 20 shots in a 5-0 win on Saturday. Campbell McLean and Austyn Hansen each scored twice for the Storm. Nolan Flint also scored.

Sunday, Ty Toews scored twice in a 5-2 victory. Nolan Flint, Dayton Shantz and Sheldon Kwiatkowski also scored. Goaltender Rylan Labrie picked up the win in net.

The Storm are next in action Nov. 18-19 at the Crosslink County Sportsplex against the Leduc Techmation Oil Kings.

Peaceland Directional Drilling Midget AA Storm split weekend

Cody Graw, Cody Quinton and Keaton Mercredi scored Saturday in a 3-1 road win against the Strathcona ACT Warriors on Saturday. Goaltender Ben Sigurdson made 46 saves in the victory.

Mercredi scored the Storm’s lone goal Sunday in a 10-1 loss against the PAC Saints. Goaltender Carson Gnam made 40 saves in net.

The Storm travel to play the Peace River Royals on Nov. 12.

Hitch’em Oilfield Hauling Bantam AA Storm win on Sunday

Mason Kyllo’s hat trick led the Storm to a 7-3 home victory on Sunday over the Dawson Creek Canucks.

Tye Evans, Joshua Fehr, Jaydon Gordey and Denon Bamber had goals for the Storm.

Goaltender Connor Stojan picked up the win with a 22-save performance in net.

The Storm travel to play the Fort St. John Flyers on Nov. 12.

Ernie’s Sports Experts Midget AAA Storm split road trip

The Storm split their weekend road trip with a 6-1 win and 3-1 loss.

Edge Lambert scored twice on Saturday in the team’s victory over the Lloydminster Bandit Energy Bobcats. Carter Massier, Devan Klassen, Kyle Chalifoux and Taylor Paulovich also scored. Goaltender Lars Kaliel made 18 saves.

Lambert scored the Storm’s lone goal Sunday and goaltender Ty Grant made 25 saves in a loss against the Lethbridge Midget AAA Hurricanes.

The Storm host the Okotoks Bow Mark Oilers and Sherwood Park J.Ennis Kings on Nov. 11-12 at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

Global Bus Lines Bantam AAA Storm split road trip

It was a close, high scoring weekend road trip for the bantam AAA squad.

Saturday, Jayden Watson led the Storm with two goals en route to a 6-4 win over the PAC Saints. Kjelt Sandboe, Hayden Smith, Dayne Tews and Connor Klassen also scored. Goaltender Terris Lappenbush made 24 saves.

Four different players (Chase Jonzon, Dayne Tews, Tyler Buchberger and Hayden Smith) scored for the Storm on Sunday in a 5-4 loss against the Sherwood Park Flyers. Lappenbush made 44 saves in net.

The Storm host the Edmonton SSAC on Nov. 11-12 at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.
