The GPAC Peaceland Directional Drilling Midget AA Storm won 4-3 in Whitecourt on in their lone game over the weekend.
Saturday’s win was the Storm’s first of the season.
Keaton Mercredi, Cody Quinton, Brock Wallace and Tanner Vinck scored for the Storm.
Goaltender Ben Sigurdson turned aside 24 shots.
The Storm host the Sherwood Park Oilers on Friday at the Crosslink County Sportsplex at 7:30 p.m.
GPAC Hitch’em Oilfield Hauling Storm
The Hitch’em Oilfield Hauling Midget AA Storm won both weekend matches.
Jaydon Gordey scored twice Saturday in an 8-1 home win over the PAC Timberwolves. Also scoring were Denon Bamber, Jett Lambert, Mason Kyllo, Evan Wagner, Tanner Nyland and Braeden Staples.
Goaltender Tye Georgeson stopped 30 shots.
Sunday, the Storm edged the Fort St. John Flyers with a 4-3 road victory. Keenan Moberly, Denon Bamber, Tyler Herron and Jett Lambert scored for the Storm.
Goaltender Connor Stojan turned aside 18 shots.
The Storm host the Whitecourt TRAC Wolverines on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the Coca-Cola Centre.
Ernie’s Sports Experts Midget AAA Storm
The Midget AAA Storm went 0-2 on their weekend homestand against the Calgary Flames and Red Deer Optimist Chiefs.
Carter Massier scored Saturday and goaltender Lars Kaliel made 38 saves in a 4-1 loss against the Flames.
Forward Taylor Paulovich scored the Storm’s lone goal Sunday in a 5-1 loss against the Chiefs. Kaliel turned aside 33 shots.
The team travels to play the Chiefs and Calgary Royals this weekend.
Boston Pizza U16 Storm
The U16 Storm split their two-game weekend road trip.
Campbell McLean, Morgan Marusiak, Carter Burletoff and Cameron Wiebe scored Saturday in the team’s 4-2 victory over the SSAC United Cycle Bulldogs.
Goaltender McCoy Bidewell made 31 saves.
Sunday, the Storm were downed 5-4 by the St. Albert Flyers.
Sheldon Kwiatkowski led the Storm with a hat trick. Carston Clements also scored and Bidewell made 29 saves.
The Storm host the Red Deer North Star Chiefs on Saturday and Sunday at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

Bantam AAA Storm
The Storm returned home following their weekend road trip with a loss and tie.
Saturday, Kjelt Sandboe and Codie Saunders scored for the team in a 2-2 tie against the Edmonton MLAC. Goaltender Eric Schultz made 29 saves.
Alex Lopez scored Sunday in a 3-1 loss against the Camrose Red Wings. Schultz made 21 saves for the Storm.
The Storm host the Lloydminster Bobcats on Oct. 28-29 at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.
Bonnett’s Energy Bantam AA Peace Country Storm
The female Storm won two of their three road games over the weekend.
Friday, Charlieze Sallis scored the team’s lone goal and goaltender Grace Lutz made 37 saves in a 5-1 loss against the Calgary Fire White.
Marissa Coulter responded Saturday with a pair of goals in a 4-3 OT win over the Rocky Mountain Raiders. Dayle Ross and Arilyn Toews also scored, and Nault made 32 saves.
The Storm wrapped their road trip with a 3-2 shootout victory over the Lethbridge Cyclones on Sunday.
This weekend the Storm
host the Llodyminster Junior Steelers on home ice.
Peace Country
Midget AA Storm
The midget female Storm split their weekend homestand against the Lloydminster Elite Steelers.
Saturday, the Storm fell 6-4 to the Steelers. Camryn Stromberg, Kerry Gardner, Vanessa Spenner and Ashley Death scored for the Storm, Karsyn May also had three assists and goaltender Madison Doucette made 29 saves.
Katija Sware scored twice and Ashley Death and Vanessa Spenner added a goal in a 4-3 shootout victory Sunday over the Steelers. Doucette and teammate Paige Jassman split the duties in net.
The Storm travel to play the Lethbridge Cyclones and North Central Impact this weekend.
